Green Chatni

The simple green chatni that can add flavor to any meal - from simple daal chawal to an extravagant spread... this is my mum's recipe, I love it, all those who I know love it and I am sure each one of you who try it will surely love it...

The few simple things you'll need...

one bunch of coriander leaves - cleaned and only the leaves, no stem
7-8 green chilies [can be more or less depending on how hot you'd like this for you
one big size ripe tomato - chopped in bug chunks
half an onion - of a really small onion - peeled and chopped in big chunks
1 tsp of cumin seeds
1 tsp salt [or to taste]
1 tsp mango powder [amchur]
water - to mix and grin

Now just throw all the stuff together in a grinder jar, until when it's all a fine paste... guess what .. it's done :)

There can be some variations done to this same combination too..

1. you could add a few leaves of mint for the flavor
2. Add mint and a raw mango - peeled and cut in small chunks
3. Make this without onion - that tastes super goo too
